(For me) the first--the geese make it. The second is too much foreground/too much contrast.

It wasn't an option but can I be difficult and say both.

I'd combine the two, but just have a bit off the bottom on the second, just leaving enough foreground detail for the rest of the image to sit on.

Love the colours btw.

#2 for me. Much more detail in the foreground

I'd go for #2 also, I think the extra foreground detail adds to the image.

I like the first. But I would lighten up the blue area above the clouds just a little to bring out the silhouette of the geese.

Photo #2 is warmer due to the clouds. Too bad the tide was low.

I vote for the second one as well - like the colour on the beach.

I like the second one as well. I would crop a bit off the bottom of it but my husband makes me crop everything rather i want to or not.
