Ooh, sunrises! Love 'em... I don't get to see nearly as many good ones as I did when living in Nebraska, so I'll just have to pull a few from my archives for starters
All are K100D shots.
One from Bellevue, NE, looking east over the Missouri River bottomlands. Fall can give days when the water is warm and the air isn't, giving lots of chances for mist (or dense fog...) in the valleys. This one I caught because my wife, driving to work, called me and said I *really* needed to grab my camera and go snap this spectacular sunrise. I think I succeeded
One of many beauts I got to see on my morning drive (56 miles house to office, across the plains and hills of eastern NE).
Almost the same location, but looking southeast vs northeast... I loved the soft, almost pastel colors and the sky that looked like a painting. 1500-foot radio towers for scale
I'll have to see if I can make some time to get new ones. A bit more challenging out here in Washington with an urban commute and going the wrong way, but we'll see...
