I went for a bit of a wander today but saw very few birds and little to shoot. Out of the shots I played with this one pleased me with how the buds progressed from left to right in stages of growth.



I was kicking myself when I got home though. I'd been taking snapshots of my truck for sale and forgot to reset the camera to RAW from Jpg when I went out for my walk....
Doh!

Shot this after I got home, just playing with bounced flash and various materials to diffuse the light plus a set of those magnifying filters...not bad for the kit lens.
