Mixed Bag
Camera: K5 Photo Location: Puerto Morelos, Mexico

Here's a mixed bag of shots from our last Sunday on the beach (it was the start of Bonus time as we were originally scheduled to depart this day)

Click on image twice for larger view

#1 - I should have taken two exposures here - one for the moon and one for the light on the water and then used Layers - but I did not - It was much nicer to see in person than this photo indicates.

#2 - Speaking of full moon here's one. They (the town) sometimes have full moon parties. If there are no clouds it really lights up the night sky and ocean.

#3 - Most days there we had the beach more or less to oursleves or at least very few people there. On Sundays this is when all the locals come out. It was a beautiful day , in all our time there I had never seen the beach this crowded. There was still lots of room if you wanted a spot - but the vendors were sure happy this day.

#4 - A catamaran docked near the reef. We actually took this tour and I will post some pics later. I just like the blue on blue.

#5 - I applied all my panning skills on this shot ... or my wife mentioned Pelican ! and I turned panned and fired one off - it's not too bad and pure luck it came out at all.

A great group of pics, buddy. The first one is very cool and you caught that pelican spot on.

haha Jac - that I have to keep my eyes open for and it was pretty easy to spot that - just a tad more difficult to shoot and then show 'em to everyone.

That looks nothing like my pelican.

Interesting panning shot though.
