Taken with bigma and 1.4x teleconverter. I was surprised I had to treat it as near daylight rather then a long exposure. Not as fast as the moon would need to be but still in the 1/45 second range

At first BPT I was trying to figure what you had taken a picture of..

Then I read it in your intro section that it was Saturn and it all clicked and made sense.. .. These are very cool shots.. and you can even see the rings.. WOW..

Wow I'm impressed!!! The rings are visible!

I'll have to try it with my 600 tonight if it's not cloudy (been covered and snowing for weeks here)

Thanks, I am really impressed with this lens. Thanks to my wife for letting me buy it. She asked if I was done now and I said well I do need a macro lens now. Poor lady

ve2vfd, if you need let me know what time you are going to give it a try and I can tell you where to look. I have a program where I give the time and my location and it shows the location of a huge number of things in the night sky.
