Look what I found in my house!

Great sharp shots! I am not sure on what spider it is, but it is very interesting. Insects are so fascinating; especially when observed so close. Thank you for taking them and sharing!

Don't worry, I don't think that this species grows to be much bigger than a handball ...

Seriously, nice photo. I'd do more critter-shots, if it wasn't that insects up-close gives the CDFO (Chief Domestic Finance Officer) the creeps, and I want to make sure that future budgets contain photo-gear

It's a brown crab spider of some sort. You can tell by the shape of the body. The common house/yard variety, not the bigger tropical ones. Those are a different species. There are quite a few varieties. Most don't spin webs but there are a few that do. I see these outside a lot. We have a variety that does spin webs apparently around here. They like flowering hibiscus shrubs like the ones we have around our house.
