Spring Colors
Lens: DA 12-24 Camera: K5 Photo Location: Banff, Alberta, Canada ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/45s Aperture: F9.5

We needed a weekend getaway to well get away from all that snow ! So we headed off to the Banff area. It was not a photo shoot trip but I did manage to grab a few . The weather was good , the company was great and the scenery is something I never get tired of.

While there are no budding flowers here still I find a lot of colors and textures in this shot.

You know I am not that much of a fan of HDR but I love this one bud and I know where you took this one too. I think this could be one of your best HDR's. JIM

Thanks Jim - I wanted to bring out the clarity of the water - it's not a true HDR as it's a single image but some Topaz Detail assists

Thanks Bob there was way more melting here than where we live so spring is not just a rumor

Very neat shot, bud. I like the aquatic green contrasted with snowy, gray mountains.

Great shots, a good weekend in the wilderness by the look of it, plenty of space to stretch, it can't be beaten.

Nice use of pseudo-hdr as it's far too easy to overcook it. Works really well here, the contrast of the green against the snow is beautiful...and how clear is that water? Lovely
