Is this image too dark? The flash failed to fire but I thought I could salvage it.

Looks awesome to me but I tend to prefer a slightly underexposed, contrasty image. Others may disagree.

The blue jays and orioles are making their way through here now. You have inspired me to get out and try to capture one while they are around!

Not too dark at all , only place that shows a little underexposed may be the eyes. Nice shot.

Thanks very much. I have only seen one oriole at my feeders and that one was a few years back.
