Skate parks are a lot of fun to shoot at. I love the composition of the first image.

I used to shoot a ton of skate shots as I grew up in that culture. Great shots! Here is one from the dew tour I shot a while ago:

There wasn't anyone around that was really good at skateboarding so I didn't get anything totally killer...but I was able to practice my photography none the less

Some billionaire donated some land right by downtown houston and built a skate park so that kids (and grown up kids) can go have fun and be safe...I just walked by and had my gear so it was fun...

I was going to say these guys look a little old to be doing this kind of thing.

Great sharp shots btw.

I had a pic of an old man with a grey scraggly beard ripping it up. He looked like a homeless guy but he was flossing all the latest skate gear. If I had captured him better it would have been an very unique image....He looked like Blue from Old School (Will Ferrell)

Wow - these look great to me. I rarely get to downtown Houston - where is this place?

Just off Allen Parkway (to the North)...within walking distance.

Nice. I like shooting skateboarding and we recently got a new park in our little town too. I grew up skateboarding and still get out now and then with my son but I'm afraid I'd be too brittle to handle the falls you take on the bigger features!
