Wow! Those are some great shots! Looks like you have became one with your camera's autofocus!

I can't decide which I like better - the photos or the cars themselves.

Thanks a ton! As my favorite motorsport photographer says, "It's all about the swing". Get it down and you make it easy on the camera. And I will let you in on a little secret about shooting motorsport: If you miss your shot, don't worry, wait 90 seconds and it will be back in the exact same spot! I'm not going to say it is easy for a second, but it is why I find these wildlife shots posted here so impressive.

I really, really appreciate the compliment! The answer is easy though... it's the cars. No cars, no photos. BUT if my photos can bring the track to someone (which is the goal) or encourage them to go see those cars, all the better.

Thanks Bob! I'm a HUGE Corvette fan and have been for years. This year's race was big for Corvette as they came from a lap down twice during the race and passed the leading Ferrari with 15 mins left to go on to victory! That is a wonderful time and spot to photograph. It is entering The Hairpin during sunset which is about 8 hours into the race. The drivers are looking into the sun and the cars are covered in rubber and war wounds. I've taken some of my favorite pics there. Just for you, here is a pic taken (although with my Canon gear) three years ago in the same spot of Mr. Sebring himself, Johnny O'Connell.

You would have thought they'd at least get the squashed flies off the front for you, before you were forced to take this.

This is good work, keep it up.

All of these are super - I'm particularly taken with the Aston and the Audi, in this series. Wonderful panning - I couldn't do this any more than I could fly up to the roof!
