Ready for Adoption (Caution - Cute Pups)
Posted By: atupdate, 03-31-2013, 08:52 AM

We have been fostering a mother and her six puppies for the last 8 weeks. They get spayed and neutered on Wednesday and will be put up for adoption on Saturday. I took these photos for the rescue center website (SICSA | The Society for the Improvement and Conditions of Stray Animals).

And I can tell those little beasts are just waiting to bite somebody... (little playful bites of course)... they all have that gleam in their eyes. Especially Coda and Emma, they are trying to look all innocent and everything but they can't quite pull it off.
So you have met Coda have you? Emma can keep up with Coda but she has her quiet moments also.

Wonderful photos and commendable work fostering. It can be heart-wrenching. I was able to have my own dogs when I fostered, too bad you can't. But maybe that is a good thing. Two of my fosters remained my fosters for 12 years.

Excellent photography Tim!

Thanks Tess. We ended up keeping the very first dog we fostered (last April). He needed a low excitement environment for a month, as he was recoperating from heartworm treatment. He is the kindest, calmest cock-a-poo I have ever met.

Here is Moe, our failed foster before we adopted him.

Here is Moe after adoption

Being all black, he's a tough dog to photograph.

Even though this thread is old, I just discovered it and wanted to say, you did a great job on this and on your work with the animals. I also do photography for one of our local shelters almost every weekend. I really love it.
