Ready for Adoption (Caution - Cute Pups)
Lens: Promaster 28-200 Camera: K-r Photo Location: Dayton, OH ISO: 1600 Shutter Speed: 1/125s Aperture: F4

We have been fostering a mother and her six puppies for the last 8 weeks. They get spayed and neutered on Wednesday and will be put up for adoption on Saturday. I took these photos for the rescue center website (SICSA | The Society for the Improvement and Conditions of Stray Animals).

Thanks Colbyt, we've had the gang since the pups were 3 days old.

If these guys don't get adopted it won't be because of the photos. Great shots and I want Roxy and Cocoa. These really are wonderful puppy portraits.

Thank you Susan. Emma is the real lady of the group.

Not too bad for a bed sheet and plastic bucket to contain the puppies.

Don't let my wife anywhere near this thread, your great shots should get them all loving new homes, well done.

Thanks. I think this litter will get adopted pretty quickly.

It's a good thing I don't live in OH and that my park doesn't allow dogs in my section otherwise I'd be so bringing one of these home much to my furball's dismay. Those photos and those faces totally got me. They're adorable and now I want to live somewhere where I can have a dog...:P

I have to say, if every dog looking for a home had as good a photographer as you working for them, there'd be a lot more adoptions.

It's funny, though, they make me think of Misty at night, she cuddles up beside me at night watching TV, then she decides she wants to bite somebody, and I'm closest. She bit Dreamer this morning and he bit back, (I have yet to try that)..... she chewed through an extension cord yesterday, she is at the "watch her all the time " stage. And I can tell those little beasts are just waiting to bite somebody... (little playful bites of course)... they all have that gleam in their eyes. Especially Coda and Emma, they are trying to look all innocent and everything but they can't quite pull it off.

There are a couple of people that have already picked up adoption forms from SICSA and will be waiting for the doors to open on Saturday. My son wants us to adopt the mother but then we would have to stop fostering.
