Have you ever wondered how the early settlers cooled their beer ?

The bow river starting to lose some of her winter coat



We get a bit of a unique view here , as you may know there are certain times of the year where we can indeed walk on water .....



A close up of Bow falls - she's still pretty 'phat' from the winter , but slowly slimming down to show her flow ....



And here a couple of cool Canadians , enjoying a beautiful day in a beautiful location ...

That must be quite a sight when that waterfall breaks away from under the snow.

Great shots, I notice in the last one your not doing that wee dance thing your supposed to do!

that 1st photo is awesome and the young couple in love photo is a real keeper. Stay warm up there.

haha I don't dance well. Thanks lkerrordown - it would be cool to be there as it happens, but it is pretty spectacular in the spring when the water is highest.

Thanks Susan soon snow is melting for sure , but we have a couple of bad days this week left.

Thanks Bob it was a short photo shoot but we did indeed have fun up there.
