Nice composition a little overexposed I think.

This flower looks more like something we have over here called a clematis and here folk get quite excitable about such things, hardly a weed I hear them say, but I'm no gardener and have probably got it all wrong.

A good composition. The image seems a bit soft and overly bright. I have taken the liberty to give it some fairly aggressive sharpening and a tweak in the levels. A bit too much perhaps but I trust it demonstrates what some post processing can achieve.

It is definitely worth the effort, flowers provide a very rewarding and often challenging field to explore. Keep it up, looking forward to seeing more.

Aye, now you've said it, that'll be the very chappy, I did say "but I'm no gardener and have probably got it all wrong".

I have a few other ones that I will work on. I understand going to much into the brightness but I work in Tourism and we try to make the colors very bright with high contrast between the colors.
I will take the example and work it out from the raw file. I have more of these flower shots.

I am like a baby in a new world and slowly moving from snap shots to great shots.

It is indeed a passion fruit flower...offhand I'm not sure of the species (there are many), but it's definitely a Passiflora. Very interesting plants, some of them (typically vines) are super-aggressive growers that will overcome your garden in short order. Welcome to the forum, and keep posting!

Thank you for the help.

This is a wild passion fruit vine and indeed it would take over if you let it grow out of hand. This vine is local to the ABC islands of the Dutch Caribbean. I took this shot in Aruba and I have one more shot with bees that I would love to share and I will post that tonight. Now I got new tricks and tips I can get ready for the spring photography. The are a few nice opportunities to get great shots so I will be busy outside as opposed to the "darkroom". I love the digital photography it revived my hobby.

Here is the last one of this flower. Just one thing, next time I will use a lower ISO.
