Nice shots. Leo Carrillo State Park beach? Looks like the little cove just to the right (north/west) of the beach you can see from the highway.

Great shots, what sort of birds are on the rock there, they look big, cormorants maybe.

What happened to it always being sunny in California?

Thanks for the replies... This is at Matador, a little further south from Leo Carrillo. And yes those are cormorants. Here's a bit of a better shot of them
