Spring is springing here is south east Texas, USA! Today is sunny, very windy and a pleasant 59 degrees. Here are some pictures of the cottonwood tree in my back yard.

An one of a flower in my neighbors yard.

I won't even take my camera outside it's so bad now (50mph winds, snow with sleet, general nastyness!)

Its so miserably cold here who could possibly think about going outside to take pictures. but here is one from the other day.

Nice shots everyone, still waiting for signs of spring here, yesterday the high was only about 32 F, today looks to be a bit warmer !

Both these shots were using K100D, Pentax-F 35-70mm, and a +3 close focus filter.

McDowell Mountain Park, Scottsdale, Arizona, March 8. The flowers started blooming not too many days ago.

Thats what I saw when I got to work at the station this morning... I am so glad I live 2 streets away and can walk to work, 'cause the streets were not cleaned at 6h30am
