Lets see your early spring photos!
Posted By: dws1117, 03-04-2008, 11:29 AM

Spring is springing here is south east Texas, USA! Today is sunny, very windy and a pleasant 59 degrees. Here are some pictures of the cottonwood tree in my back yard.

An one of a flower in my neighbors yard.

Now I'd like to see your early spring shots.

Nice sharp shots, we're about to go into Autumn here - another good time of the year.

Too early for the natives, but here's some of what's blooming in my neck of the woods:

Japnese flowering apricot (Prunus mume)

Beautiful colours in those images. Some crocus out here and some flowering cherries starting up but it's been pretty cold, though nothing I know compared to what some of you are contending with.

Wow, some really nice shots posted so far.

Nothing to spectacular here yet, but there are signs of things to come. I snapped this shot this weekend while testing out my new to me lens.

Oh, you lucky dawg! Over here in northern New Mexico (Angel Fire), we've still got snow out the wazoo, and more is in the forecast for tomorrow and the next day. It's going to be a while before anything starts thinking of putting out sprouts.

Here's a shot from last year at about this time; the situation this year is pretty much identical.

Still waiting for spring!
