OMG, LOL....
You enjoy that lens way too much. I really need a fisheye lens, but it's so tempting to buy other lenses as well. One day, one day.

Thanks Chris and yes it is a great lens for fun for sure as well as some really wide angle (see the Chitzen Itza Part II for a picture of a cenote) and for close ups (I have several floral ones from Mexico I will post later) - it is an amazingly versitle lens IMHO

Thanks Paul - I think the cloud cover helped that day as in the bright sunlight and white sand exposure and contrast would have been an issue. (Cannot get any kind of filter on the FE)

Great fun pics Dave. I really like no2, the detail in the breaking wave is great set against the surreal background

Thanks Kev I had a 2 week sabbatical myself (in the place above no beaches even remotely close to that where I live!) I figured you sold one of your abstract street shots you do so well for a million dollars or so and bought your own island or something! Welcome back

Great shots, I really love how that lens looks. The colors always seem so good, and it is nice and sharp. I have loved using mine as well. I really like the earth is round shots.

Man, you sure know how to use your 10-17. I love mine and you just gave me additional ideas, which I'll shamelessly steal!

Thanks Travis for me it is an amazing versitile lens - great for wide angles , close ups and can have some fun with. It is one of my faviroites for sure and as you mention the IQ is great!

Thanks Heinrich - to take the whole family there when the kids are young adults now (unlike trips to Disneyland , San Fran , they barely remember haha) , and to travel with good friends (10 of us in total) it was indeed best vaction to date.
