Piano Recital - Little Girl in a Big Scary Place
Lens: DA 70/2.4 Camera: K-5 Photo Location: Clarion Music Hall ISO: 1600 Shutter Speed: 1/45s Aperture: F4
Posted By: Sailor, 04-07-2013, 05:35 PM

My Granddaughter, Claire, played in a piano recital this afternoon. A few stumbles (typical recital stuff) - but she did well. Still, as was the case with my own daughters during their various recitals and concerts, I held my breath until she finished.

Love the way you shot this photo buddy, how precious. I wonder when she will get the jazz influence from her Granddad.

This shot brings the memories flooding back with my own kids and doing their piano exams.

A great capture, well done.

Nicely captured Jer. The height of the image really lets us feel that big scary place she was in. Good job to both of you.

Thank you. I sweated out every note, but she pressed forward with complete control (despite a couple of clunkers).
