Great colourful shots, it looks the there's something to do even more expensive than photography.

Great colors and POV for these shots. I especially like the Chevy truck and the 40's Ford flames

Hot rods ARE colorful, aren't they? Or, maybe it's that special quality our Pentax lenses all have. But those cars are definitely more expensive than our cameras... unless you're a Leica collector or a Hasselblad guy. Look at the first image below. The right stuff, a hand-built Ford flathead V-8 motor, and a hand-made aluminum body... $$$, ka-ching!

Cars. A young boy, with his own mini-rod. But most of the people there were older men. Very few ladies... there's something wild and threatening about these cars, even still, and the suburban fembots around here hate them. Paint flames on that Porsche? Umm, no. Stories...the owner of the yellow roadster telling me how it's not just yellow, it's 1974 Citroen Jaune Ecosse, Scotch Yellow, after the Scots who went to France to help Jeanne d'Arc, back when. And a guy on a custom metalflake-painted power chair, who used to race drop-tank speedsters out on the dry lakes. And the beautiful paint, the pure colors, solid and metallic. Car culture, here in California, on a fine spring day.
