Lucky Sighting
Posted By: Bob Harris, 04-08-2013, 02:31 PM

We were headed back from Las Vegas to the motorhome in Pahrump, when Terri all of a sudden said," Look there are big horn sheep going up the mountain". My regular cameras were in bags in the back seat, so I got my trusty Pentax point/shoot out of the glove compartment and quickly got out and snapped as many pics as I could. We have seen wild horses and donkeys here in the desert, but this was a first for us. Thanks for taking a look.

Thanks for sharing those Bob. How wonderful to see.
thank you Sue, I bet you don't have many of these guys in your area and it was a pleasure to view in person.

Looking good Bob gonna have to keep that spotter of yours around. We get them here in the mountains (and some parts of the highway) - did not know they were down south as well. Very cool.
I'll tell you buddy, without Terri I would be lost, just ask her.

What cool shots, Bob! I have never seen any of these guys before. Yep, you have to have a good eye, they really do blend in! Great color in that sky, too.
I'll tell you Lori, quite a surprise here for us. Down the hill a bit there is a sign that says to watch for animals, I always laugh to myself and think Yeah that's going to happen. It was a beautiful crystal clear day, typical for the high desert. Thanks for taking a look.

Great job, brother Bob. These suckers are hard to catch with a camera based on my experiences in Colorado.

Jer
thanks my good friend, we didn't see any in Colorado or many other mountain states in the past year, maybe this year when we visit CO during the summer.
