Thanks! It's amazing how sharp the images can be as soon as you get close to the bird.

It's one heck of a lens! I'm the limitation for the pics for sure, not the lens nor the camera.

I stood there waiting to see if any bird was in the hole or going there, but either it was abandoned or somebody watched me waiting for me to leave first.

This is good work, your pretty close to them with your 300 mm to get results like this.

Unless of course we're cropping like crazy later, but I'm giving you the benefit of doubt here.
