Thanks Bob. Well you got one. The first is a view of the Owhyee River in extreme northern Nevada, just south of the Idaho border. The second is on US 395 near Lake Crowley, north of Bishop, California. The third is Red Rock Canyon, a little ways north of Mojave, California.

Thanks Dave!
Originally posted by tessfully That second one is just soooo cool and creative Jerry. I love your fearlessness when it comes to post processing. Great Renditions.
Thanks Tess, although sometimes I wonder if I'm being fearless or foolish
Originally posted by causey Great shots. First two are superb. Very, very well done.
Thanks causey!
Originally posted by scratchpaddy I really like that last one. It looks like the "bloom" effect in video games, where highlights are fogged a bit and bleed into the surrounding darker areas. I'm sure someone around here knows what I'm talking about...
Is there a name for that effect in photography?
Thanks scratchdaddy. Not sure what the technique is called. This is a very mild HDR, Photomatix's default mode which I think often does a good job bringing out color and texture.
Originally posted by leptim I like them all. Well done.
Thanks leptim!
Originally posted by slowpez Great PP work; I like all of them but the last two are my favorites. Well done.
Appreciate it Susan!
Originally posted by kerrowdown I like the second image, the estate agents here (what I believe you call a Realtors) would describe that building as, a detached residence, with scenic views, requires some cosmetic and sympathetic upgrading.
You could say it's a fixer-upper with a great view and a big back yard.
Thanks!

Thanks Heinrich! This was also the common consensus on my 500px site.
