I was looking for some curves for the next weekly challenge and this is what I came up with...

Misty on the Move!

Good old stand-by - Cedars and rain drops

My very favourite - Easter Lily - took a dozen or so shots of various curves using window light and a black-board in behind the flower.

And while I was sitting at the window composing the above shot a Downy Woodpecker landed on the feeder

As usual Tess, I like them all but the lily is really beautiful. Nice shot of the downy also.

I love the abstract feel of the first, well taken.

The only problem I've found when I do this and like the end result, getting a similar shot is never that easy.

Thanks Dave... we were just issued a winter storm warning for the next 3 days. And looking ahead, two more weeks of snow and yuck in the forecast. We are sure paying in spades for our 2012's early dry bug-less spring.

Thank you Jer! The cedar greens are still so dark. In a couple of weeks they will glow with vibrant green.

Thank you SJM! I am looking forward to taking more lily shots today. It is so much fun to sit at the kitchen table and compose and experiment.

A cool, eclectic series, tess. I especially like the second one, but all are well done. I dig the kinetic feel of the first one.

Love that lily photo, just beautiful. Woman have curves, would of been interesting to see those, not that I would look of course.
