Ole, that is a clasic photo. great composition and very nice colors. The DOF is excelent, the shot is crisp and clear. Thats a keeper.

Ole, great pic! I agree with David, good composition, color, and DOF. I checked out the other pics you took there, and they are all good. I especially liked the last two - the elk and the pelican.

It was a very hot day, and most of the birds and annimals suffered in the heat. The pelikan kept itself cool by gasping with the beek wide open!

The photo is great, but the title really makes the picture even better. You can just imagine the bird thinking that from the look in his eye. LOL!

I looked at the rest of your zoo gallery. Too bad it was so hot. Looks like you had a wonderful day, light-wise. I like the play of shadows in all of the pictures. My favorite of the gallery has to be the antelope. That look alone tells you how hot it was. "Glad you're suffering just as much as we are!"
