What a great view and some great shots. The hair blowing shows how windy it was. Nice series.
Thanks very much! Except for a few quick photos by the train and sign, the wife stayed inside the depot where it was warm. She said that the wind was blowing her down...lol.

Wow, you really got some altitude there. The only time I was ever that high was on Mauna Kea in Hawaii and it was real chore to even take a few steps without heaving with shortness of breath. Nice shots of an interesting place. Thanks for sharing.
I never had any problems with shortness of breath, surprisingly, but I did get a few minor headaches. We started taking ibuprofen before heading out, and that alleviated most of the headaches. Thanks! Hawaii is on my bucket list...

Beautiful. I really like the way the light is hitting the mountain in the 4th one, great catch. Took sunrise pictures from Mt Evans a few years ago after driving all night to get there from Missouri.
Thank you very much! That is one of my favorites as well. In some of the full res phots, you can clearly see the depot on top. I can't believe that people actually drive up that windy road to the summit!
I was disappointed that the road to the top of Mt Evans was closed when we went. I'm sure sunrise photos would be beautiful.

Hope you grabbed a couple of donuts and some coffee while you were on the top. Nice shots. Brought back a lot of memories.
Yeah, after I froze outside taking photos, I met the wife inside and drank a hot chocolate and had lunch. Thank you, and lots of great memories on this trip.

Nice set. The cog railway is a must when visiting the area.
Thank you! I agree, the cog railway is definitely worth it. It is amazing how the temperature and wind drastically changes as you ascend the mountain.
