Just thought I'd share these. A colleague of mine asked me to scan some old photo's of historical Dutch botanists. The first one, of J. Wttewaal, was an original B&W photo, the second one, of H.J. Kok Ankersmit, was published in a journal in 1945.

Probably the start of a new collection?

It is nice to see the old photos being preserved today. TFS Rense. They scanned really well.

Those guys do have that "Botanical Stare"

. Scan some shots of organic chemists and you'll see some real party animals.
