This, my friends, is the venerable turkey. Some people were intimidated by him. However, unlike the rooster that attacked me, this old fellow simply walked a slow, dignified, march, shaking his wattle with every turn of the head. He's giving the "the look" in this picture.

That is one ugly tuff looking old tom turkey and probably has spurs 3inches long and a foot long beard?

Nice capture of the irridescent colours on the feathers and the scarlet of the wattle. Mean expression on the bird, too, if I was only a metre tall I'd be terrified!

Dignified????? - Kinda reminds me of the wig worn by Magistrates and Lords. Are they dignified?
