Landscape Treasure Island, CA

Took my family to Disneyland last week. We spent a day driving along the Pacific Coast Highway. We visited an area called Treasure Island. It was truly a beautiful place. The kids had a great time playing on the beach.

Gorgeous... but where is it? Never heard of a place called Treasure Island. This looks a lot like Laguna Beach, is it near there?

The Treasure Island I know of is the artificial island in San Francisco Bay, between SF and Oakland just next to Yerba Buena island. Am I close?

Yes, that's the Treasure Island I know too. But this is not that place, this is SoCal somewhere, looks like an Orange County beach or possibly San Diego County.

I was there a few weeks ago too and actually took some similar shots.. Almost ended up there tonight as a matter of fact but it's a little further of a trek for us so I got outvoted and we ended up on balboa island. in Newport Beach... The spot in the very nice photo above is near the Montage Resort Hotel in Laguna Beach... Map

The only Treasure Island I know had a Long John Silver in it.

Great shot, the flowers on the bottom right are just amazing growing that close to the ocean.

Thank you for the correction. I was misinformed by a local person at the beach. The island in the distant is Goff Island. It is located in Laguna Beach.

Terrific picture! I was discharged from the Navy at Treasure Island (the one next to Yerba Buena) in August 1967, and it didn't look anything like the picture you took.

Glad someone provided you the correct information.
