McDonalds (hamburgers) Museum
Lens: Various Camera:Photo Location: San Bernardino CA
Posted By: SpecialK, 04-28-2013, 01:56 PM

This is the unofficial McDonald's museum in San Bernardino, owned by the Juan Pollo restaurant chain.

The owner of Juan Pollo bought the Route 66 town of Amboy a few years back.

From the pre-McDonalds restaurant.

Some Juan Pollo artifacts in the rear...

this thread brings back many memories. I used to go down the hill from Victorville and cruise the streets of Berdoo in my vette in the 60's. Lots of hot cars back then and drag racing on the back streets. Everyone had to take a trip through the McDonald's parking lot and stop and get a burger..

Anything seventies is still way too new to be in a museum, you've no idea how old I've just become, after reading this thread.

Interesting set of images of a bit of social history, thanks for posting.
