At the top of Cajon Pass is the Summit Inn, a Route 66 landmark.

I love these iconic old signs, it's good to see they're still there displayed.

this was a busy place back in the day Kyle, good food too. People just bypassed it and went on into Victorville for services and the rest is history. I'm surprised it isn't vandalized worse than it is.

Thanks for looking. I guess you don't have much like this in your neck of the woods.

Well, it's still active and there is a gas station on the corner, so it probably keeps the crime down.

Your so right, I would kill for a location like this. Closest I got was a disused Concrete factory.

I'd use your location to death for everything until people were yelling at me, no more from there.

Frankly, I was surprised it was wide open. No "no trespassing" sign at all.

Aye, well my end, the big fence all around wasn't quite big enough, but don't tell anyone and we didn't get chased.
