The Hummers are back
Lens: Bigma Camera: K5 Photo Location: Saugus Ma ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/125s Aperture: F11

It blows my mind.One year and one day they are back and they say that many times the same ones return.I took 4 shots and the first one was my keeper.I used the Bigma with my Vivitar flash from around 10ft.--charliezap

Nice shots. I need to get a bird feeder to attract those birdies.

Nicely captured Charlie. Our regular hummer buzzes my back door to let us know it is time to put up the feeder then he goes and gets the wife.

You know winter is over for sure when the hummers come back. Ours arrived yesterday. And I do think you are correct in that the same ones come back to the same place. Our first one yesterday went right to where the feeder is usually located - my wife got one filled and hung right away.

I have 2 feeders hanging side by side now.One of them has the boiled sugar and water and the other is a concentrate with water added.We'll see which one they prefer.--charliezap
