Red-eared slider turtle? I was with Biosecurity here in Queensland when one turned up in a dam just north of Brisbane. Some aquarium owners just dump stuff when they don't want it any more. It was all stops out to prevent them establishing in the wild here because of the threat they pose to native species. I seem to recall that they are an invasive species in parts of the northern US and Canada as well. Nice shots, though. Great for identification purposes.
