Getting decent pictures of hummingbirds at least for me is easier than getting good shots of kids. Eli sat still at home for just minutes before he wanted to change into his regular kid's clothes.His mother liked the way these came out so I guess it is a success story.The first shot is in the K5's pastel filter mode and the 2nd is normal with PP light rays added.-charliezap

I hadn't thought about using the pastel mode for portrait photos, both are very nice keepsakes for sure.

The second image with the "rays" shining down is a "gud 'un", well done.
