Red Rock Canyon from Turtlehead Peak · 07:42 PM

Hiked up to Turtlehead Peak today at Red Rock Canyon. It's the toughest hike at Red Rock but It offers the best view of the canyon and a view of the Las Vegas Valley....

Made it back to the trailhead just before the rain really started coming down.

Awesome. I did the tank trail last week (blue sky, but windy). I don't think I'm up to Turtlehead though...

Very, very nice pano of the valley ... the colours and composition are bang on too.

Clouds make it stand out, very nice. Third one down specifically, Cactus and rocks in foreground gives great depth to the photo
