Collection of Sap
Lens: Sigma 105mm F2.8 Macro Camera: Pentax K-5 II.s Photo Location: Perth, Western Australia

I don't know why they collection the milky sap from Frangipani trees but they do.

Fascinating. I did a quick check online and all I could find is that the sap is somewhat toxic.
Can't imagine what's going on here - probably an interesting research project in there somwhere.

Ouch you could hurt someone with that sharpness - if the sap is toxic perhaps it's a kamikazee bee ?
