HDR - In town local wetlands
Lens: DA* 16-50 ISO: 80 Shutter Speed: 1/8s
Posted By: daacon, 05-17-2013, 08:14 AM

The last few mornings here have been outstanding. Not a breath of wind and just a few clouds. Here's a tripod assisted 5 shot exposure (+/- 2 EV). I love this area. It's about a kilometer or less from my house , makes for easy access. It also has quite a variety of birds as well as muskrats and this morning I saw a fox (too far and fast for me to capture it with the camera but it's the first time I have ever seen one there)

There are a few halo's and I know not everyone likes HDR - but I do and hey that's all that really matters eh

Unusual, frosty colors, but the effect is nice, especially given contrast to the yellowish clouds.

Lucky you to live near there. Such a gorgeous place. Fantastic colors too.

Interesting shot, please give the horizon a tweak for me.

The HDR and colours in think work well for this image, I've seen poster prints made up with this sort of colour palate.

It's good to be different, well done.

It's fun, not all shots can take advantage of it but there is some good software free and paid to check it out.
