Well after some absense from photography I'm finally back into it...

Some photo's of the recent storm on Thursday, hope you enjoy the shots

love it, even though i am biased i remember seeing a storm like this rolling in towards augusta, about 7 or 8 years ago. damnit i had no camera on me then, but you've done justice to it now. really gives you the feeling of seeing a big storm roll in from the indian ocean - take shelter!

Beautiful captures and I learned something about catching lightning with a camera by looking at the Exif data. Thanks!

Thanks for eveyones comments!

The best thing about this sytem that came through it was moving slowly, with little rain ahead of it which made it possible I think.

Was probably my best photography moment to date, namely getting 20 odd lighting shots but some of the lightning was landing fairly close. Was definately a rush
