Thanks eaglem, loving the camera so far, a big step from my old K200D. My photos are nowhere near the high standard of your marvellous work.
Cheers WH 4

Now, I thought that landscape looked familiar! Good to see another Pentax user from around here active on the Forum.

Congrats on the new camera. Look forward to seeing more from you. Nice series so the learning curve is not too steep.

Thanks for your encouragement, Kerrowdown. Must say I have been enjoying some of your recent "street" scenes.

Hi Rob,

It's not hard to miss Mt Wellington. Good to be on the Forum, lots of interesting Pentax items, not to mention the wonderful photos that are submitted from Pentaxians all over the world.

Thanks, Charlie.

I've had Pentax cameras since 1990, except for a short time with a Canon SX1-IS point and shoot. The K5IIs seems to be a great camera, so much more than my K200D. We never stop learning, as you say, which is a good thing.

Cheers, WH 4

Too true – inspiring, and often humbling. Glad you're liking the IIs: one local friend of mine recently bought one, and he loves it, even after the original K-5. I've decided to wait on the next body (don't care if it's APS-C or bigger). Nonetheless, keep up the good work – winter approaches!
