Thanks. Me too. This was my first time to see this guy. We sometimes have small geckos climbing the walls outside, and occasionally coming inside...lol.

Yep, I need to schedule another trip to Florida myself. You should see the ones in Puerto Rico (huge iguanas)!

I've never seen one quite like this one. At one point, he expanded his throat into a big red balloon. I had my camera down when he briefly did it, and I only managed to take a few photos of it, but they were not in focus. I'll add one to show it because it really was unexpected and the first time that I've seen it in person.

Just one question, why are they so damn fast...

It's just a bugger when your trying to photography them.

Part of their mating ritual I think. Even the larger ones do it.

Thanks! Well, I actually just slowly walked up to him, and I was probably close to a foot away at one point. I was surprised that he didn't run away. I think the key is to move very slowly and stop when they are looking right at you...lol.
