Camping in Style
Lens: 50mm f/2.8 Camera: K5 Photo Location: Pahrump, NV
Posted By: Bob Harris, 05-19-2013, 10:49 PM

We left our desert campground and pulled into Wine Ridge RV Resort in Pahrump. This is a very unique place which has its own winery, vineyard, fine dining, pools with spa, meeting rooms with kitchens for large groups and full hookup camping sites of course. These are some handheld photos of part of the exterior grounds which I took on a quick walk around.

A VERY loose definition of the term "camping" Interesting looking place. I'd never heard of it.

Gee, it's tough life, isn't it, Bob? That sure beats the desert.

You have redefined the term camping Bob. Nice place. I think you have stayed there before right? I seem to remember the winery part. My mind does tend to gravitate toward alcohol.

Charlie, bring your "red solo cup" over here, they even make their own wine, the Merlot isn't too bad either.

the nice thing Susan, is Pahrump is conveniently located to Death Valley and many ghost towns and also close to Las Vegas. Pahrump is on the small side, has 4 small casinos and a place where you can still get a 2 for 1 prime rib dinner for $12.00
