Great Sea Caverns of Ireland
Posted By: amcinroy, 03-11-2008, 08:21 AM

My project might interest you because all the images were shot on a Pentax K10D. The project is seeing a lot of interest from the UK photomags and is set to be published shortly.

HDR is used to good effect in this project. But the real challenge is accessing these caves safely using climbing and kayaking techniques. Many have never been photographed before.

You can read the full story here
Great Sea Caves of Antrim - Photography Portfolio 5 - County Antrim, Northern Ireland

Here's some examples

And here's some old etchings that inspired the project

Very nice. I like the 2nd one as it is an almost reproduction of the etching.

Looks risky and challenging. Those excellent exposures of yours must be the result of a lot of experiments and hard work, Andy.

Great and interesting exposures in what must have been very difficult conditions.

Thank you very much guys,

I still have a lot of work to do with many more huge caves to explore. Amateur Photographer magazine in the UK will be writing a feature on this project in the next 2 months.
