Redhead in available light
Lens: FA 77mm Camera: Pentax K10D Photo Location: Stuttgart, Germany ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/15s Aperture: F2

So.... i've become quite a fanatic about finding public places with nice available light so i don't have to use any flash at all
worked really nicely on Louise i think, i thought i'd share.
It was in a corridor that lead outside (see the reflection in her eyes) so there was natural indirect soft light, almost frontal. There was also another light source 180 degrees to the main one but somehow it didn't come into play in this shot.

ISO 200, f2.0, 1/15 (on 77mm that was a bit of a risk but i cannot crank up the ISO on my K10D anymore)

That is a photogenic model and very nicely shot. Focus is well handled, and color/exposure work very well too. I want her to not be centered in the frame. I think you could create more interest and highlight her face more with an alternate crop. Well shot.

You're right, thanks for pointing that out. And i wish now i had done that when shooting the picture. Now i have no space left for cropping so there's nothing i can do about it
Well... next time

Nice model, nice pose. But rotate the camera and shoot portrait mode, or shoot landscape from further away and crop.
Anyway, it's still a good image.
