Last week I came across about 6-7 crows 'mobbing' a Great Horned Owl which was perched in a tree. The crows would fly close to the GHO...cawing, etc. The GHO just continued to perch there. Again I believe the 'mobbing' behaviour is done to get a predator to move
Seen the same. There is a pair of Osprey nesting close to home. The female is sitting on the eggs and the male is watching the nest from about 100 yards away. JIM
