Still getting used to my new camera I was pleased with how these photographs turned out. Any comments welcomed.

I would suggest that your ISO is too high in the first shot. You don't need ISO 1600 in bright sun. On web sized photos it doesn't show, but on larger you will see that the details are not as well rendered.

Thanks for your observation CR. I felt the shutter speeds on the latter two photos a little slow so for the other one I opted for auto ISO and set the level up to 1600.

I think these are great! Looks like a real fun ban to watch. When I photograph my dogs leaping for balls I often set my shutter speed to around 1000 or 1500 and let the camera select the ISO. Even on a clear day the ISO often goes up to 1600, but sometimes only 200. I don't know what but using shutter speed priority seems to work for me. Your photos look sharp.

Hi Tessfully,

I'm lucky with the 18-55 kit lens I'm using. It is very sharp so much so that a friend frustrated with his K5+ DA12-24 + DA* 50 -135 has just bought himself a K5 IIs and only now believes he can match me! I was at a wedding yesterday and would have loved to have had a 18-135 to try but I cannot afford one for now so will stick by my 18-55 & 50-200.

Your right this bunch certainly did have "all bases covered".

Energy and enthusiasm are hard to capture as well as you have, well done.
