The Old Mill Stream
Lens: DA 18-135mm WR Camera: K-30

Mabry Mill, Mile marker 176. Arguably the most photographed spot on the 469 mile Blue Ridge Parkway.
This is a grist mill powered by a small stream. It is still operational and was used to make corn meal and buckwheat flour.

Overflow from one of the water runs.

I agree... Lovely, and I'd love to do the entire route over a week or so.

It's been twenty years since I've been down the parkway. I need to get a passport.

I've driven every mile at one time or another, but never all at one stretch. It's a great drive.
