Have you heard ...Bird Bird Bird , Bird is the word ....
Lens: DA* 300 Camera: K5 Photo Location: Sherwood Park, Alberta

Here a few shots from yesterday morning. Really enjoying the DA* 300, would have not have made that many trips to the local wetlands without it for sure. Here are a few of the local residents.

Well done on all of them Dave. I have been trying to get a good shot of waxwings for some time but so far they have not cooperated.

Thanks Tim it was pretty high ISO lost a bit of detail ...

I like #4 particularly. That is one of the worst songs ever :-)

That Pelican is great. Blow it up to 8X10 and frame it....hang it up on the wall. It's that good. Colour, lighting, composition...wonderful. The Pelican seems to be using it's rear foo as a paddle to turn.

# 6...excellent also.

That 300 mm is a pretty impressive lens. I wonder how it compares to my 55-300 mm fully zoomed. Some great shots, particularly the pelican!

missed this one originally buddy, these are some very nice photos and viewing it should give you some hope for spring/summer.

Wow bringing a blast from the past thanks sherryonne I believe is it some sort of sparrow a house sparrow maybe.
