Yanks Air Museum is at the Chino, CA airport. Planes of Fame is also located there, and gets most of the press.

Not sure if this applies to the jets (the sign is in the other hangar)...

F-11 Tiger.

Harrier canopy release.

Rocket sled test dummy.

Japanese Model 11 Okha suicide rocket.

Hellcat.

I was surprised by the history.

N3N-3.

The Beech "Staggerwing" was the luxury ride of the time.

Some people think the AT-6 was the most important plane of WWII. Everyone trained in it.

This SBD wing was recovered from Guadalcanal 37 years after the war.

A HUM-1 two-seater.

A Jenny and Ford.

Stearman.

Thomas-Morse Scout.

Fleet 7 named Little Rosey after a former owner/collector's daughter.

This B-1 Brougham was the sister ship of Lindbergh's famous Ryan.

CA-1 airborne dozer.

B-25.

P-51D, perhaps the best fighter of WWII.

The P-40 has the most famous cowl?

N3N-3 on floats.

DeHavilland Gipsy Moth.

There is also a restoration hangar, and outdoor boneyard which I've seen on a previous visit.

All very nice shots. I volunteered for one of the test dummy slots but my wife wouldn't sign off on it.

Very cool shots. I would love to visit that air museum some day!! And my Grandpa fought at Guadalcanal, so that recovered wing is just so cool to see. The shot of that P-40 is awesome!

There are 2 air museums at Chino airport, so you can make most of a day of it for $11 each.

Yeah, that dozer arrived in C-47's (mostly) to grade the runways, in as little as 2 days.
