In the Garden
Lens: Pentax 100 mm Camera: Pentax K-5 Photo Location: Manhattan Beach

Playing with the 100 mm again. Sometimes in the middle of work I take a break, run outside, shoot a few pictures like this, and then work on them at night. I might keep one out of 10 of these. I'm really warming to the Pentax 100 mm and have just about got rid of my Sigma 105 mm envy.

Beautiful colours and lighting on those flowers! Excellent amount of dof too.

Nice to see the agapanthus again. Ours are finished for winter. Nice effect having them framed by the other plants. Good depth

Thanks Johan. I used f/32 for this one thus the DOF.

Thanks Bruce. Good to know what these flowers are called. I was hoping someone would come up with that!
