Maybe that's why your wolf (https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/post-your-photos/226997-nature-eastern-red-wolf.html) was out on the roadside in your previous shoot... it was being chased out of the trees by one of these big buggers.

Great shots of a nasty bug.

Nice spider macros. But you need to take a shot with your hand next to it so we can get a perspective on the size. :-)

I don't care how big or small he is, I would prefer not to come face to face with him. Thanks for sharing. And you can keep him on your side of the pond.

Hey all, thanks for having a look and for your comments. I want to shoot him again and this time I will put something in for scale. I really really liked Norman's perspective on this spider https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/post-your-photos/227508-nature-whos-afrai...lf-spider.html (wish I had thought of taking it that way). He is a real interesting, formidable, wild looking creature, but he poses like a pro.
